A tree viewer and a number of tabs allow you to view your environments to better understand where resources are being wasted. See Data Collection for Cloud Environments for details on data collection.

Initiating Cloud Data Collection

You can collect and analyze data from your public cloud environments. You can configure a connection from Densify to your cloud-hosted environments through the cloud connection wizard or through the Densify API.

Review the connection prerequisites to configure a user account that can then be used to create a connection to Densify:

AWS Data Collection Using a CloudFormation Template —Densify recommends using the CloudFormation template as it automates the entire process.
AWS Data Collection Prerequisites for an IAM Role (CloudWatch only) —Use this version if you need to customize access permissions for configure memory metrics.

Microsoft Azure Data Collection Prerequisites for a Service Principal —Instructions for the required configuration in your Azure account are provided. Once you have the Tenant ID, Service Principal, the secret key and the subscription ID you can use the cloud connection wizard to create the connection.

Google Cloud Platform Data Collection Prerequisites —Instructions for the required configuration in your Google Cloud Platform account are provided. Once you have the JSON file you can use the cloud connection wizard to create the connection.

Once your data has been analyzed, you can see your results in the AI Analysis Details Table tab.
